Spring 2025 Drop One Inspiration
This season for our first Spring Drop of the year we wanted to bring you a bit of background as to the inspiration behind this exciting collection. All made and designed in the UK, as always with love. This season we have launched a ‘full spectrum blouse offering’ from the perfect shirt - to wear to something special or to the office - that has all the stunning detail and exquisite fabrication you have come to expect / love from Stoned & Waisted and yet that same piece can be worn with jeans for a more casual “vibe” and take you anywhere. Our colour palettes are inspired by beautiful light blues, crisp checks, khaki and of course pink. We finish with exquisite details which will instantly elevate any look thanks to each construction and add those signature touches across each piece to bring you something very special to your wardrobe. To top it all we have our stunning lightweight best selling shearling Jeanette and Ellena pieces for colour, texture and layering. Showing you how to wear our lavish lightweight Shearling throughout the year just when you need that extra 'something' for your forever outfit. As we welcome the start of a new season, there is a wonderful sense of excitement for Spring in the air. Whilst many brands are focusing on launching their sought-after collections for Spring / Summer, and indeed we likewise are working on some beautiful key silhouettes that we can't wait to bring you, we wanted to take a moment to remind ourselves about the importance of those key and core pieces in your forever wardrobe. At Stoned & Waisted, everything we do is done with the greatest care and attention to detail. When we start on a new piece we focus on those little touches that often go un-noticed and stress such high importance on each fabrication that goes into the construction of any garment we release into our collection. This is because we want to make sure this design truly brings you joy for the years and years to come. We want to bring you something different, designed and made here in the UK with gorgeous touches and elements that make you feel that extra bit special each time you gravitate towards that piece. Behind the scenes hours upon hours of conversations, samples and experiments are going on with our amazing seamstresses, so we can deliver something that is truly unexpected and yet easy to wear throughout the year. We want to make sure that you have the sense of practicality and wearability with each of our designs, as we focus on those layered and key pieces that you can style throughout the year rather than simply 'consume' season after season. We are so proud to say that we design and make everything here in the UK, as a small British female founded brand. Our iconic Shearling often comes from amazing Italian tanneries who produce only the very best, lightweight and tactile skins. We demand nothing but exceptional quality because we know that's what you deserve. We spend ages in warehouses looking for the very best dead-stock designer fabrications so you can get the joy of that luxury touch and feeling in pieces that are wearable and give you that brilliant sense of versatility. From blouses with removable ties, to dresses with detachable belts, we want to go that extra mile so you really do get the best wear and enjoyment out of your Stoned & Waisted pieces. We aim to always deliver effortless pieces that have that certain edge, that you don't need to overthink or overdress, as we very much believe in less is more. As a small brand, we are also constantly updating our website, messaging and designs as we listen to your feedback and adjust these garments to best fit your lifestyle. We always however stick to our core values and make sure that throughout our process we bring you nothing but excellence. A very different hands on approach that many other big labels and high street brands can not deliver. Then the moment happens, when we can unveil the curtain and the orchestra of seasoned craftsmanship, design, colour and construction all come together in our new arrivals. This is the moment that brings us such joy, as after months of planning we can finally bring to you that piece that you have been waiting for. That piece you may have not even realised you needed but is what you will gravitate towards time and time again. At each stage of manufacturing a garment, which we focus on in small batches and limited runs, we devote our attention to quality management. That's why when you then are able to try these pieces on, touch and experience the quality of the fabrications or Shearling, we love hearing what you all think and take your feedback very much onboard. From changing snappers or pockets, to introducing new colour ways or fabrics we love knowing what you enjoy and how we can help you make that considered purchase. Our Shearling moves through signature pieces including coats, waistcoats and accessories as we continue to work closely with tanneries and manufactures to guarantee that only the finest skins are selected for their quality, texture, and luminosity. We choose our colour pallets carefully and bring together beautiful designs to deliver the most stunning combinations - which hope will complement your hard working wardrobe, time and time again.
Attention to detail and quality control is paramount throughout our journey and all our Shearling is a natural by-product of the food industry.
