Brands We Love - Fashion Edit

It was so amazing to receive the great feedback from this new blog series after launching our first article the other week.

For this feature, we have decided to highlight a few fashion brands which we think each offer something totally unique and different.

We love hearing your thoughts so please let us know what you think and as always should you have a brand you think should be on our radar, please do share them our way.

If you are always searching for second hand gems, this is the website for you. Defined as the home of pre-loved fashion, Vestiaire has some of the best labels at great prices and is a wonderful destination for luxury goods.

As a fellow slow fashion brand we have always supported pre-loved vintage finds and love this concept by Vestiaire. The community is great and the pieces are always quality controlled by their experts so you know you are buying an investment treasure.

Looking for shoes with a twist? World Secrets always offers something beautiful and are the best at handcrafted, light hearted collections that make you smile. "At World Secrets everything is designed using traditional textiles and bright coloured fabrics. The perfect combination of Old and New. Every item has its own story and is one of a kind so no one can have the same thing as you!"

In particular, Rachel loves their IKAT print trainers, such as these beautiful ' blue rangers' which were originally  inspired by a 90's childhood filled with Spice Girls music, Roller Skates and Power Rangers, so named after the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers!

The Deck is a contemporary made-to-measure tailoring brand, by women, for women. Whilst on the more luxurious side, these suits will truly last you a lifetime and the quality simply speaks for itself. We also recently found out that they were the first female-only tailor with a shopfront in the history of Savile Row.

As a female founded company, we love supporting women in business and The Deck is supporting exactly that and empowers each of us us through their beautiful designs which are made just for you.

Interested in trying to make your own clothes? Why not checkout the Fabric Godmother, which was launched by Josie after she struggled to find fabulous, reasonably priced dressmaking fabrics along with all the other bits you need (patterns, habby etc) online.

This is a great source if you are interested in handcrafts and design and we always feel so inspired when viewing her latest designs. Just look at this beautiful Jude Viscose Twill for example, how fantastic would this be as a blouse or dress for Summer!

We hope you have enjoyed this new series and if you have any more brand recommendations for future features, please send them our way. x
